This daily grounding practice is intended to bring you into your body and connect with the subtle, healing energies of Mother Earth. By connecting to the energy deep within Earth's core, you are able to release heavy vibrations (called Hucha) from your energy body and bring in the grounding, electromagnetic energy of the lower world.
The most basic grounding practice dates back to our Ancestors, the ancient ones who lived in harmony with the natural world and walked barefoot on the land. These days many of us are living in very fast passed environments, some far away from a natural landscape and some just filled with an excess of stimulation, noise, electricity and pollution. Grounding helps us to re-align with the truth of our existence and supports us in being present and aware of how our intentions, emotions, life experiences, relationships and events influence us.
Some signs of being "ungrounded" are feeling tired, spacey, disoriented - especially during times where we feel overwhelmed, stressed or experience any type of shock. I also want to note that most spiritual practices (such as meditating or journeying) bring us "out of body" to experience the divine, however, we are Earth-beings and by honoring this connection we are able to live in greater wellbeing. Many of my clients experience incredible shifts in their vitality and wellbeing simply by introducing a daily grounding practice.
