An antique, handwoven Mesa cloth by a woman in the village of Ausangate, Peru. Woven with plant dyed alpaca and sheep fibers in a traditional stripped pattern representing the balance of feminine and masculine energy. For use as a Mesa altar cloth. This cloth shows signs of wear as it is antique and was used in ceremony or during spiritual practices. May be hand washed.
