This offering is to bring attention and gratitude to the element water. For nourishing and hydrating our bodies and the body of Mother Earth. Through oceans, rivers, lakes, raindrops, waterfalls, a single tear - we feel the fluidity and movement of water in and around us. Our bodies contain nearly 65% water and 70% of the Earth's surface is covered in water.
Water is a reflector. It will reflect to you, as you are in this present moment. If we are love, water will reflect to us this love and healing energy. The studies of crystallized water by japanese doctor Masaru Emoto uncover the true nature of water and its unique qualities.
Emoto's photographic studies document the molecular changes in water as it is exposed to music, spoken word, written word, photographs and film. Water from streams and pure mountain springs had beautifully formed crystalline structures, while the crystals of polluted or stagnant water were distorted. Distilled water exposed to classical music took on delicate, symmetrical shapes. When words like 'I love you' and 'Thank you' were expressed the water took on shapes of mandalas and sacred geometry. Water was treated with aromatic flora oils and the water crystals began to mimic the shape of the flower. When negative thoughts were focused, no crystals were formed and instead the water displayed fragmented structures.
I believe our outer state of consciousness is a reflection of our inner world. In our lives perhaps we are not able to see the effects of negative thoughts or words but nonetheless they are there, manifested in some form. When we send love to our own body, it responds and when we send love to Mother Earth, she responds. To truly believe this I feel one must have a direct experience by practicing loving intention and thought.
Healing Practices with Water:
- Place a glass of water in front of you and meditate on your inner light by setting the intention 'to experience my light within' . Experiencing your light will effect the energy of the water to contain healing vibrations as it uses its property of reflection
- Simply sing, chant, or play beautiful music in the presence of a glass of water or in the presence of a body of water
- Use loving words like 'I love you' to communicate with water
